Talk:Ernest Shackleton
From Conservapedia
Shackleton
A great leader, truly inspiring heroism. Having spent a year down in the South Atlantic, including South Georgia and inside the Antarctic Circle, I really can appreciate the guts that he and his crew had. Wonderful stuff. Readable BBC article on the changing nature of the public perception of heroism here. For anyone wishing to expand this article, another link I have saved in the "favourites" folder is here.

- Although this is gets the points for the contest it deserves to be filled out. Frankly I'm surprised that it hasn't been done before. I would do more work on it myself but I'm afraid it literally reduces me to tears just thinking about it. Shackleton has always been one of my heroes and the epitome of British resilience and leadership. BrianCo 08:47, 20 January 2008 (EST)
