It would me more accurate to say that "Family Values" is a catch phrase created by conservatives. There are many, myself included, who consider the family to be the cornerstone of society, who do not agree with many, if any, of the beliefs of those who use the phrase.Boomcoach 16:22, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

Oh, please. Family values have existed far longer than any political movement. Whether or not you agree with ALL of them is moot; they are the foundation of American family morality. RodWeathers 18:43, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
