Talk:Flag of Chechen Republic

From Conservapedia

I find it amazing that Conservapedia is so supportive of the anti-Christian Islamic fundamentalists of Chechnya. Remember these people got their funding from Saudi Arabia and were also supported by the Taliban. See also[1] Breadan43 14:40, 1 December 2007 (EST)

The supporters of Chechen independence are more nationalists than islamic fundamentalism. Islam is the form of self-identification for them, but it is directed against atheism and Russian imperialist ideas rather than against Christianity. I personally know many Chechens, they are Muslims, but they are not anti-Christian at all. Islamic fundamentalists financed Chechen fighters, because they would finance any Muslims against any non-Muslims. It is also the fault of Western governments that they did not support Chechens enough. Chechen nationalists, feeling lack of support in the West might turn towards Islamic fundamentalists, but that would be only tactical aliance, without consequences to the West. The flag of free Belarus

I am not an expert in technical things, but is it possible to make the flag of free Belarus more clear? It is white-red-white and on white background it is not vissible. Maybe it is possible to change the background into gray? Regards, Jasra 17:11, 26 May 2008 (EDT)
