Is this guy a liberal? I only added the {{liberalism}} template because he was already in the liberals category. HelpJazz 20:25, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Categorizing is not a totally automatic process, or I would have revved up EdBot sooner. We have to think about who needs a {{liberal}} or {{liberalism}} template, and/or a Category:Liberals vs. Category:Liberalism tag. Perhaps you are right that people are liberals, but that ideas and practices "are liberal".
Whether the label for the latter should be "liberal" or "liberalism" seems like a quibble. All I want to do is expose the deception. --Ed Poor Talk 20:29, 16 November 2008 (EST)
Well, TK invented the liberalism template, and he said it was to be used "whenever one comes across an article about a liberal". That's why I added it to this guy, who seemed to be a liberal. Was this correct? HelpJazz 20:33, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Read his Wikipedia article, and then you tell me if he's liberal. (Hint: he's editor in chief of the New World Encyclopedia, a project funded by Rev. Moon's Universal Peace Federation. Big on God and chastity, down on communism and homosexuality. Not much liberal thought there, pal. --Ed Poor Talk 20:36, 16 November 2008 (EST)

That's why I asked at the top of the page if he was a liberal. You removed the liberalism template, but left him in the liberals category. I'll remove the category and all is well :) HelpJazz 20:39, 16 November 2008 (EST)
