The first paragraph of this article is bizarre. The most famous? Most everyone was killed by the guillotine?

Spelling

I've fixed a lot of the words. Have a look through the article to make sure I haven't inadvertently changed any meanings. I think I've used US spellings through out. Hannibal ad portas 20:54, 28 May 2007 (EDT)

Taxes

There were many causes, to put too much emphasis on tax might be an error, as it would be with the American War of Independence. I will add a section on causes at a later date. stevendavy

Genocide in Vendée
