- perhaps the author can includeas a reference an article or book decrying this particular hollywood trend?
Sorry, it's my own original creation. If you think it should be an essay rather than a regular article, I'm open to that suggestion.
Anyway, I'm trying to collect movies where a gay character unselfishly helps a boy and girl with their romance. I think I've seen this theme over half a dozen times, but maybe I'm wrong. --Ed Poor Talk 15:46, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- I would argue that this should be moved to essay space. I took a look at Conservapedia's commandments, and if I were asked to interpret them I would say that commandments five and two dictate that this particular work is not appropriate to mainspace. However, I do think it should still be allowed to link to it from mainspace. Not my call anyways--CamilleT 16:44, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- If I understand this article correctly, the film Sweet Home Alabama has a gay cupid character; in fact, two of them. Also, the Kevin Smith film Chasing Amy touches on this idea, but it's not a standard romantic comedy and probably isn't what you had in mind. --Bwebster 15:57, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
