Merge Proposal with Homosexual rights advocacy

Even though I put up the merge proposal, I'm not sure the articles should be merged. They have some overlap, but I think there's two different ideas here:

1. the idea of additional rights for homosexuals. The history of these rights.

2. The organizations and people that advocate for these rights, their actions (legal and illegal), and the opposition, including the Christian position.

As it stands, it seems like Homosexual rights advocacy article does the best job of describing the advocating organizations, like Human Rights Campaign, etc., including a section on "Tactics" that's just begging to be expanded.

The list of historical events in gay rights movement seems more complete to me, so I'd like to move over the couple from the other article here, and make this more of an article about the additional rights being proposed and which/whether they have been given at any point. Otherwise, we could just merge them together into one big omnibus article, which should be okay too. Lots of flexibility in the direction where to take this. -Foxtrot 10:11, 16 February 2009 (EST)
