Wrote an outline of history and development of the German languages. I'm going from memory here, so I hope someone more knowledgeable can add to it. --AKjeldsen 16:07, 26 April 2007 (EDT)

This article cites the Durrell-Kohl-Loftus Essential German Grammar in the Bibliography but does not acknowledge copying from it in the text, which the guidelines prohibit (I realise some of this article is just fact, but the phrasing of the sentences in some sections, particularly on plurals, is much too close). I suggest someone removes the book from the bibliography or rewrites the sections in question. Also, it's Gudrun LOFTUS, not LOTUS.- BBrock

Thanks for pointing that out. I wrote the section in question from memory, and didn't realize it was stated in the book verbatim. I guess my drilling on plural forms was a little too thorough. JDWpianist 08:41, 31 December 2009 (EST)
