Gunpowder not used in weapons? Deleted that portion because it's totally wrong. The "black stuff" that ignites bullets, cannon shells, artillery rounds, etc is gunpowder. It's a more refined form, but still gunpowder. Intranetusa 13:59, 16 March 2008 (EDT)

I added much new detail, which I wrote and previously posted to Citizendium.RJJensen 21:37, 14 September 2008 (EDT)
Oh how precious is that! Did I tread on something? Ego? Sense of entitlement? The last time I looked this was a wiki. AlanE 02:10, 23 February 2015 (EST)
Are you telling me that the now elongated phrase including "Put your trust in God" has suddenly become a "common expression" amongst your people? Oliver Cromwell said those words in the middle of the 17th century. The article Gunpowder was created long before you arrived on the scene.
If you are going to object to an amendment to "your" article you should revert it. Don't moan about it, accept it, then claim it as your own. That's dishonest. AlanE 02:35, 23 February 2015 (EST)
