"Democrat voters have done historic wrongs to the Jewish community, for example the Democrat FDR refused to accept the Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany..."

One: There's a difference between voters and politicians. It's disingenuous of you to associate the actions of politicians with the desires of voters. ALL politicians do things that do not reflect the desires of the people that voted them into office. Two: If American Jews were so upset about this why did they overwhelmingly continue voting Democrat for the next half a century? Why do thy continue to do so today, at a rate of three to one if your statistics are to be believed? Three: You need to historicise what's going on here. Antisemitism was far more common and acceptable before 1945, and this was true across national and political divides. AliceBG 19:09, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

Chassidic voting blocs

Didn't a lot [not all] of the Chassidic community in New York vote for Hilary in 2000? Many of them vote in blocs depending on who their Rebbe tells them to vote for. (However the Chabad community in Crown Heights didn't, so it's not all). DLerner 19:24, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

Oddly though the Democrat Party made no effort to stop the attoricities of the Holocaust...

Again - see my comment above for why this claim cannot stand. Besides which, the Wannasee conference, which many historians mark as the start point of the Holocaust, was held on 20 January 1942, after the US entered the war. Trying to associate the Democratic Party with the Holocaust is intellectually dishonest. AliceBG 21:45, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

I would also like to add the question of just what could be done? You're already at war with the culprit, beyond that how many more options do you have? Learn together 21:53, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

Judaism Category

This article may deal with Jews and political trends, but it doesn't have to do with the Judaism category which is used more for articles that deal with an understanding of the religion. It should be limited to politics. Learn together 21:53, 13 March 2008 (EDT)
