I removed the "Because his movies almost always do very badly (critically and financially) people say that there is a "Jon Stewart Curse" that he brings to all his movies." part, because it didn't have a cite. Feel free to put this back if a cite can be found. 1984 22:14, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Racism

Now this isn't true. Stewart was making a play at his policy, which should be total fair game to everyone. John Stewart does it for comedy not to demean the black portion of the population. It is so childish and shows that the "Race Card" is not just used by Liberals but also the Main Stream Media to which Fox is a member of. I'd suggest deleting it.--Harrymd 18:40, 30 June 2011 (EDT)

We should discuss this, it seems. Fox is not a member of the MSM, but that is a different debate. Liberals cannot stand black conservatives and Herman Cain is one of them. Stewart is part of this crew. HP 00:34, 4 August 2011 (EDT)
So? By what logic are using to determine liberals cannot stand a black conservative? MaxFletcher 00:38, 4 August 2011 (EDT)
Should I start with Clarence Thomas or Alan Keyes? How about I go back to James Meredith, first black student at Ole Miss? Liberals, in general, think they're immune in their attacks against black conservatives because the black community will stand by as they are attacked racially. Herman Cain would not allege racism for no reason. HP 00:47, 4 August 2011 (EDT)

That's good, James. I'll expound upon this and add cites. Thanks. HP 00:48, 4 August 2011 (EDT)

Throwing out names does not an argument make. I asked for your logic that liberals don't like black conservatives and you haven't provided any. MaxFletcher 00:52, 4 August 2011 (EDT)
Yes, if you are going to make claims, back them up.--JamesWilson 00:55, 4 August 2011 (EDT)
That discussion is not part of this article, Max. So I'm not citing what the liberals did to Clarence Thomas on the Jon Stewart talk page. Read up on history for that lesson. I will link soon to the Chris Wallace interview as it may soon be forgotten. HP 01:00, 4 August 2011 (EDT)
Putting on a voice of someone is not racist. You said liberals do not like black conservative - I said give me your logic. MaxFletcher 01:08, 4 August 2011 (EDT)

I think where this controversy stemmed from was some comments Bernard Goldberg made on The O'Reilly Factor.--JamesWilson 01:26, 4 August 2011 (EDT)
