shouldnt each of these have their own articles?Bohdan

My suggestion is that additional information on each is added to this page, until or unless that would be a disproportionate amount of information (e.g. more than a paragraph or so), at which point a separate article is created for that college with only a summary left here along with a link to the larger article. Once again, wouldn't a category be a better choice for such lists? This way it is dynamicaly updated without having to go through and edit a page (that could some day be locked for whatever reason). --Mtur 22:53, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

Perhaps. There can be value, though, in having lists with some basic summary information about each thing on the list, and a category list won't give you that. And there's no reason you can't have both. Philip J. Rayment 22:55, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
The difficulty comes when the page has 100+ sections. The TOC (if it is displayed) would be a good length and then each section goes on for a paragraph or two... it gets unweidly if any substantial amount of information is to be added to the site. It is better to design for the scale that you hope the site would reach rather than having to spend significant sysop time going back and then making List of American colleges - Wisconsin, and List of American colleges - Minnesota, and List of American colleges - Illinois. Does the number of 20 colleges per state sound unreasonable to have at some point? Thats 1000 sections on the page. And if you break it up, it makes it difficult to find unless you know what state the college is in before hand. --Mtur 23:01, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
That's a good point. Regardless, all I was doing was making a suggestion; I don't really care what happens. Philip J. Rayment 03:21, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

Shouldn't this article be renamed "List of American Conservative Christian Colleges"? After all, that is what it focuses on. --IlTrovatore 19:59, 5 June 2008 (EDT)

By the way, that was a serious question. I wasn't trying to be "trollish." --IlTrovatore 20:14, 5 June 2008 (EDT)
