Kirk Cameron is for sure a former atheist, but did he ever identify as a liberal, I knew there are some secular conservatives? -- 50 star flag.png Deborah (contributions) (talk) email me 00:15, 20 August 2008 (EDT)

He was pretty young when he came to Christ (just 17), so it's difficult to say. He has said that his newfound faith brought conflicts with "Growing Pains" material that he had never had a problem with before. Jinxmchue 00:53, 20 August 2008 (EDT)
I was also wondering about his age too, at age 17, you may not care for politics, at all-- 50 star flag.png Deborah (contributions) (talk) email me 02:08, 20 August 2008 (EDT)
One does not have to care for politics to be liberal. You can still support liberal ideals. Jinxmchue 10:03, 20 August 2008 (EDT)

I wanted to add Michael Steele. He grew up in a democrat household but wasn't a Republican until a young man. Didn't know if that made him liberal or just a Democrat at one time. -- 50 star flag.png jp 15:42, 20 August 2008 (EDT)

That's good enough, as it is safe to assume his prior views given what you say. Maybe you can find him speaking to the issue directly, as that would be preferred. Nearly all Democrats vote for liberals. So go ahead and add him for now.--Aschlafly 16:03, 20 August 2008 (EDT)
