Talk:Mandarin Chinese

My parents have always talked of Mandarin as just "Mandarin" and we lived in Hong Kong for three years while I was a child. Why does the "Chinese" have to be thrown in the title? The other countries that speak Mandarin are mentioned in the article anyways, and I seriously doubt that articles will be made on "Mandarin in Singapore" etc. May I suggest a simplification of the title? The word Mandarin also refers to a citrus fruit (I think it's an alternate name for tangerine or clementine or one of those). If you do change the name of the article, I'd suggest adding a disambiguation clause. Foxtrot 02:18, 25 April 2008 (EDT)

Well yes I think it should be moved, but I think that has to be done by a sysop. Other wikis have "move" tabs at the top and Conservapedia doesn't. Rockthecasbah 23:24, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
