Is there a less condescending source that was published in the past 100 years? Maestro 11:05, 24 March 2008 (EDT)

I am unaware of how to do the references correctly. However even with the references a little mucked up this article is a million times less offensive to me. I'll do some more work on it later.--DamianJohn 12:15, 11 July 2008 (EDT)

Māori should be the title of this page.

Reference.

Could someone find out about that reference to when the Maori first arrived please? In the 'Penguin History of New Zealand' (2003) Michael King gives the thirteenth century as the date of the first Maori settlement (p.51), so is the date here from an older or a newer work of his, or is it maybe based on a misreading or what? I am personally tempted to replace it with the date I have, but I'll wait and see if there is another opinion. Also, should we change all uses of the word Maori, like in the 'new zealand' article to Mäori? (sorry, don't know how to do macrons but that's what I mean)Cmurphynz 20:15, 19 June 2012 (EDT)

You may go ahead with care. --Joaquín Martínez 13:26, 22 June 2012 (EDT)
