NO!!! Naturism is nudism, naturalism is a whole other thing. Im redirecting this.
I have recollections of an English bishop bellowing from the pulpit something to the effect that: "If God had meant us to go around with nothing on we would have been born that way!"AlanE 03:48, 8 June 2007 (EDT)
Science and atheism
- Science typically affects methodological naturalism, the idea that only those influences that can be measured and quantified, can be considered as part of an experiment.
I don't think this is correct. While it is true that science only studies "those influences that can be measured and quantified", there is no reason science cannot study mystical or supernatural phenomena. For example, a scientific experiment can prove that a particular spiritualist is a fake:
- Theory: If the spiritualist is authentic, they can contact spirits even in the presence of skeptics
- Experiment: Let a skeptical experimenter attend a spiritualist seance.
Harry Houdini exposed countless fake spiritualists, yet we know from the Bible that spiritual communication is possible. Angels have often given important messages to earthly people. --Ed Poor Talk 08:18, 19 March 2008 (EDT)
