If the our Solar System is a solar system, then the nebula hypothesis says the planets (in particular, the Earth), were formed from a cloud of dust and particles. That very much seems to contradict the prevailing view that God created the Earth and the Sun and seems in line with the Big Bang theory that stars and planets just happened on their own. Perhaps, perhaps, the nebula hypothesis could be used to argue about the formation/creation of other solar systems than our own, but as applied to our own Solar System it is definitely a Big Bang-style theory.
