Did anybody hear about his law that he proposed and was passed requiring that journalists be licensed in order to film acts of violence? That disappoints me and strikes me as non-conservative. I had liked Sarkozy a lot before, esp. after his handling of the Muslim riots. MountainDew 00:58, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
Is Sarkozy a conservative ?
I am not sure about this. Yes he is from the right wing and in France considered as quite conservative but France has a very different meaning for conservative.
Sarkozy is pro-secularization, pro-choice, evolutionist, against death penalty and pro gun control. So what do you think ?--ARamis 22:10, 25 September 2011 (EDT)
I don't understand the fixation with Zionism. Anyone who supports the existence of Israel is a zionist. In so far as Sarkozy's maternal grandfather Aaron Mallah had converted to Catholicism, which was anti-Zionist, and taken the name Benedict, his history does not suggest any special Zionism from this alone. Given the problem France has with immigration, Muslim assimilation, and Muslim terror, it is clear that this article has been hijaacked by a pro-Islamist or Third Worldist leftist, as shown by the use of the UAE-funded leftist Juan Cole as a source. This page has been defaced by a leftist and is now arguably more leftist than that in Wikipedia.
