Proposed changes

Now that the article is unlocked, I'd like to discuss some proposed changes. This diff, reverted by user:Learn together, contains highly emotional language and a one-sided (Serbian) view of the conflict. In my view, my edits do nothing to diminish the crimes committed by Kosovar rebels, but simply point out that Serbs are not the only victims of these wars. I have sources for my edits, so I'm not sure what the problem is. If there is no objection in the next couple of days, I will return my information, with additional sources. You did use the talk page, and that is admirable, but the information is still unacceptable. Your claims do not match your sources, and leave out other information that your sources do provide. This article is about the Orthodox Church. It will remain that way as much as possible without attempting to malign the institution. Learn together 20:14, 17 June 2008 (EDT)
I don't see that you have added any sources supporting your revision. Besides, I don't think it's fair to claim that reporting facts is the same as maligning an institution. There is an article on the Inquisition, correct? Dchall1 20:22, 17 June 2008 (EDT)
No, I used your source. Learn together 01:15, 18 June 2008 (EDT)
You used one source and discarded the rest. And you still haven't answered my question - where is the rule that says we refrain from reporting verified sourced facts that might be inconvenient to the subject of our articles? Dchall1 22:24, 21 June 2008 (EDT)
I would suggest writing about what the Serbian Orthodox Church is - its founding, its history, and what role it has today. Trying to claim they said to attack NATO troops, when they did not, will only lead to getting you blocked for ongoing disturbance. Learn together 04:04, 22 June 2008 (EDT)
They did not attack, or they did not encourage others to attack? There's a big difference between violence and incitement to violence. Neither I nor my sources claimed that they perpetrated any attacks, only that the incitement was there. I am trying to write about its role today, and I don't see how talk page discussion can be considered "ongoing disturbance" Dchall1 18:01, 22 June 2008 (EDT)
