The way that professor is defined here as limited to those "promoted based on peer review of his scholarship" is a limitation that is not found in any other definition I have ever seen. It is meant to bolster arguements made by Andy refuting the legitimacy of Richard Dawkins title of professor. Goodnessgracious 12:55, 31 October 2007 (EDT)
