Appropriate?

I question the appropriateness of having an entire article dedicated to this. I see very little educational value. Maybe if there was an article on racial slurs as a whole, although this constitutes more of a cultural defamation. I mean, in all honesty, this term is the southern, white, blue collar equivalent of a certain other slur that starts with an N and ends with a R. I see no reason to have it here. This is coming from someone who has lived in a small town in middle Georgia for almost his entire life. Just an observation. --NicholasT 09:23, 21 April 2009 (EDT)
