Sorry I am late. Your message came in after I had been locked out for the is not yet five in the morning here, and only have the next 4 or 5 hours before I have my day's things to do. I get cut off by Andy about 2PM my time, which is about when I can start concentrating on CP again.

I added works that are popular and still performed regularly today, and deleted some that aren't. All of Strauss' operas are on the catalogues, but some are performed more regularly than others. In fact his first two started life as flops, I think. He also wrote chamber music and piano pieces and more orchestral but it is hardly ever played so I didn't include it, as you had titled the section: "Some works". Cheers... AlanE

BTW I will be commenting/changing other composers I saw when I got up just now. AlanE 14:58, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
