Can we have some sort of citation for the Clara/Brahms assertion? This is one piece of gossip I haven't heard. Perhaps I have read all the wrong books. They were close, all three of them, and Brahms once proposed to Clara well after Robert's death. She was the love of his life. But as for adultery...no way. AlanE 21:14, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

And can someone please give me information on Arlene Cole's Schumann CD(s). I can't find any anywhere.AlanE 03:21, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Re the Trivia rubbish that has managed to stay there so long. (a) His Opus 1 (Abegg Variations) are a "musical puzzle on the name of a young pianist he knew - Meta Abegg. No Mozart anywhere to be seen.(2) Whilst he did injure his hand through some foolhardy contraption he used, it was Rachmaninov who dedicated his 2nd Piano Concerto to Nikolai Dahl. (3) If we are going to list "famous" versions, we should have more than one famous pianist, one flavour of the month, and one obscure music teacher. I will do something constructive on the article shortly. Guddle 16:11, 17 July 2008 (EDT)

It seems he didn't wreck his hand on a contraption....sorry. Guddle 16:20, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

Sorry about that, JoaquĆn. I was hurrying to get onto Prokofiev before I get cut off at midnight (2pm my time, so I don't feel like a complete Cinderella!) AlanE 23:38, 29 September 2008 (EDT)
