Claims about "complexity"

"It is more difficult for native Spanish speakers to learn English than it is for native English speakers to learn Spanish, due to the complexity and inconsistency of English grammar compared to Spanish grammar."

^This statement needs to be substantiated by references from peer-reviewed linguistics research or removed. I vote to remove it until it can be supported. nireboi99
