This could use some big improvements. For example, it discusses how his father did not bring him up well, but then does not go into how he initially lead an immoral life before his conversion, and it seems pretty minimal on discussion of the Confessions.--John 13:50, 5 March 2007 (EST)

"God, give me chastity and continence - but not just now."[1] (I am well aware that it is out of context) --Mtur 14:56, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

I have added some biographic information, and sketched out a couple of other entries. I don't really feel qualified to tackle the theological aspects right now - maybe later, or maybe someone more knowledgeable will step in. Oh, and I must commend AmesG on the excellent overview of his three major works.

Also: I don't really see the point of that huge quote from De Genesi, not why those particular pieces have been highlighted and on what basis. De Genesi is by no means unimportant, but I'm sure we could find some less voluminous quotes that would better illustrate Saint A.'s way of thinking. AKjeldsen 18:58, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
