I don't recommend that this be merged with QI, in particular because he's doing a trip across the US which will show up in the US quite soon. Then it won't make sense to have merged it in with QI. He's also a famous film star and has played numerous homosexual characters, such as Oscar Wilde. YorbaLinda

Well, that's better than deleting the whole page. I'll wait a few minutes, and if no one does the requested merge I'll just deleted the page. --Ed Poor Talk 11:51, 10 November 2008 (EST)
Why are you arguing to delete it at all? --YorbaLinda
I think this page should be neither deleted nor merged... --BRichtigen 12:10, 10 November 2008 (EST)

Intelligence squared debate

Fry (With Christopher Hitchens) very famously took part in a debate for Intelligence2, debating the topic "Is the Catholic church a force for good?" against Anne Widdecombe and Archbishop John Onaiyekan. The (well mixed) crowd was asked to vote at the end of the debate. Fry won by an overwhelming margin, 1876 against and only 268 for [1]. Arguably, this is a far more significant thing to include on this page than his weight.SecularConservative
