Talk:Sunday
From Conservapedia
Origin
I don't have time to look this up right now, but I thought that Sunday and Monday are also from the Norse gods, Sunne (god of the sun, and IIRC, source of our word "sun", as oppsed to the Latin Sol), and Mani (god of the Moon). Saturday is the only day to still have its roots in the Roman names, named for Saturn, a Roman god. Boomcoach 13:56, 23 January 2008 (EST)
