Opponents of the Bush administration (or of American democracy in general) like to claim that:

  1. The CIA created the Taliban for evil motives and we had to clean up their mess
  2. The Taliban were "anti-drug" and our overthrow is responsible for the increase in drug trafficking.

I'd like to see some balance here, along with sources. Argument by insinuation has no place in a trustworthy encyclopedia. --Ed Poor Talk 08:31, 3 March 2008 (EST)
