The Tampa Bay Rays are a Major League Baseball team in the American League East Division. They are located in Tampa, Florida. The Rays play at Tropicana Field. The Rays dropped the word "Devil" from their name prior to the 2008 season. The team was in the 2008 World Series, losing to the Phillies 4 games to 1.
First Game: March 31, 1998 vs. Detroit Tigers at Tropicana Field, 6-11.
