Tedy Bruschi (born June 9, 1973 in San Francisco, California) is a National Football League linebacker for the New England Patriots. A vital part of the Patriots linebacker corps since he was drafted out of the University of Arizona by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft, Bruschi is one of the greatest players in the Patriots history. He is also the first and only NFL player to return from a stroke to play in the NFL again.
