Terry Everett

Robert Terry Everett, born February 15, 1937 (age 80), is a Republican former member of the United States House of Representatives for Alabama's 2nd congressional district. He served from January 3, 1993, to January 3, 2009, when he retired.

He was succeeded by the Democratic mayor of Montgomery, Bobby Bright, who was then defeated after a single term by Republican Martha Roby.
