The Lawrenceville School is a prep school located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey about midway between Princeton and Trenton. It was founded in 1810 putting it among the twenty oldest boarding schools in the United States.
It is famous as the setting for a series of novels by Owen Johnson, loosely known as the loosely as the The Lawrenceville stories, relating student life in Lawrenceville at the end of the 1900s.
