Anthony 'Tony' Kushner (b. 16 July, 1956) is an American playwright and dramatist. He is best known for the play Angels In America, which recieved the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, amongst other honors. He has come to be known as one of America's leading contemporary playwrights.
