Tony Snow
Robert Anthony (Tony) Snow (June 1, 1955 - July 12, 2008) in Berea, Kentucky; was a television journalist and former press secretary for President George W. Bush.[1] Snow retired from his position at the White House on September 14, 2007, citing financial reasons related to his treatment for colon cancer.[2] Snow died on July 12, 2008 at the age of 53.[3]
Snow was regarded as a minority conservative in the mainly liberal media. He had guest-hosted The Rush Limbaugh Show and between 1996 and 2003 frequently appeared on the Fox News Channel.
Tony wrote an article that sounded more like Catholicism than a reporters typical offering. This was posted for Christian Today magazine in July 2007, 'Cancer's Unexpected Blessings'.[4] His statements 'You Have Been Called' and 'Learning How to Live' give a tremendous insight into dealing with cancer: "Remember that we were born not into death, but into life."
