Top Gear is a popular BBC television show devoted to cars. In September 2006, Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond suffered a severe brain injury after crashing in a high speed jet propelled vehicle. At the time of the crash he was traveling at 288.3 mph. He made a full recovery although complained of memory loss and depression soon afterwards[1] .
