Tropicbird
From Conservapedia
The Tropicbirds are seabirds similar to gannets and cormorants. They are mostly white with some black parts, and have red bills and long, streamer-like tail feathers. They catch fish by diving into the sea for their prey.
There are three species found in American waters:
- White-tailed Tropicbird - Dry tortugas and occasionally further north.
- Red-billed Tropicbird - a rare visitor to Californian waters and the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic coast.
- Red-tailed Tropicbird - almost pure white; a rare vagrant to California.
