United States presidential election, 1852

The United States presidential election of 1852 was up for grabs. President Millard Fillmore was not a popular Whig President and the party instead chose Military hero, Winfield Scott. The Democrats instead chose New Hampshire "dark horse" candidate, Franklin Pierce. The results of the election were:
