I am suspicious of big government, and support the government being extremely downsized, I do not want to be a slave to the government unfortunately as times goes by the government gains more and more power even when the right is not given to it by the Constitution, I only support the following things being done by the government, not necessarily by the federal government, fire department, police department, production of money, education, military, and a court system, no more no less. The term for people who agree with this view is minarchist from the root min meaning small and the root archy meaning government. Despite this I agree with conservatives on what is right and what is wrong. I would prefer homeschooling versus (except for universities) the public schooling , but people right now are too dependent

If anyone is wondering my religious affiliation, I am a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

I slowly left liberalism (no pun intended) from 2004 onward and began to consider myself a conservative around 2006.
