I'm just here to rock your world. And possibly the Casbah while I'm at it.

Why am I here?

No, not metaphysically, silly! What I mean is, what am I, a non-conservative, non-Christian individual, doing on an exclusively conservative and predominantly Christian wiki?

Not looking for a fight, for starters.

No, seriously. I'm not here to troll, or get involved in flame wars, or anything of the sort. I'll happily discuss anything with anyone, in public or in private, if the conversation stays civil, but I don't hold with name-calling, brow-beating, or any other completely unproductive debate tactics. Nor do I have any desire to "infiltrate," and start flooding your website with my hideous liberal bias. That way lies madness and edit wars.

So. That's what I'm not here for. But why am I here? Well, partially out of curiosity, I'll admit, but also for a very straightforward reason. There are many subjects which, quite frankly, I am afraid will be mis- or underrepresented otherwise. Not out of malice aforethought! I'm not making accusations. Simply because there are certain topics with which, by the nature of the beast, most conservatives will probably not have had much experience. And yet, if they're looking to learn more about them, they should have complete information available.

I'm not going to claim to be completely free of bias, nor do I pretend that my bias is going to be the same as that of most others here. If I post an extensive article on a particular subculture, for instance, and someone else edits it to add that this subculture is, say, inherently sinful and destroying the moral fiber of America (I don't know, I'm just making stuff up now), that's perfectly ok and even kind of expected - but I do hope that the facts (which will be both researched and documented) remain intact.
