I am politically conservative/libertarian. I believe that liberty for all people is the best political system, but that government is a requirement of civilised existence, and that some intervention may be necessary to prevent people from enslaving themselves.
I am a (not very good) Christian who believes in one holy catholic and apostolic church.
I am an engineer, and believe that the scientific method is the best way to determine the truth of any question in the natural world.
I believe that social science is only valid when it follows methodological individualism.
I believe that scientists are human, and therefore corruptible, and prone to follow trends, but that the occurrence of both is greatly exaggerated.
I am a contributor at both Wikipedia and its spinoff-with-adult-supervision, Citizendium.
