Hey! I'm Ululator, known to my friends as Meaghanne. I am Irish, so I look typically Irish, with olive skin, green eyes and red hair. Okay, so maybe not that typical! I live in Aberyswyth in Wales, so I am fluent in Gaelic, Welsh and English. If you don't know where Wales is then I pity you, because it's a great country with lots of history and culture (and it's where Doctor Who and Torchwood are shot!).

Autism

I have a form of autism called Ausperger's Syndrome, but that doesn't mean that my opinion doesn't count for anything. In fact, I think you'll find that if you listen to me, I can be very interesting - I can just never tell whether anyone's listening to me or not :D I am very proud of my autism and defy anyone who says that it makes me any less of a person. I was only diagnosed when I was 14, so for my years, I thought that I was just a bit weird. I always thought that as I grew up, I would learn social skills, but to this day, I still find it difficult to hold a conversation, because I have difficulties reading body language.

For this reason, please excuse me if I come as angry in some of my posts on the talk pages and debates, because I am not very good at picking up hidden messages, even in my own writing! Also, I am not great at expressing myself very well.

Dyke

I am also a lesbian, although I self-identify as a dyke and have been going out with Alice since 15th February 2007 and I love her to bits, so don't tell me that homosexual relationships don't work or are based on just sex!

Study

As you can probably tell, I am very passionate about some things. I am currently studying Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Jesus College in Oxford University in England. I love languages like Classical Greek, Ancient, Biblical and Medieval Latin, Ancient and Biblical Hebrew, Egyptian, Sanscrit, etc. I have studied the Bible in its original languages, as well as many different translations, from the King James edition to the Street Bible. Therefore, I do know a thing or two about it!
