Hi my name is William. I have been blocked here twice, once by a known parodist and once by an administer who said I lied but has so far declined to point out where.

Politics

I am a libertarian and a strict constitutionalist in terms of my political view points which means that I feel that the federal government should do nothing that is not explicitly defined in the constitution and its amendments. That means no gun control, control of school (which if they did not control the schools they could not ban pray in them), no health care and no redistribution of wealth on a federal level (and on a state level unless the state constitution says so). It also means that the government should not control marriage, drugs, or abortion. I just want the government to follow the rule book. They can even change the rules by adding an amendment but neither party seems to be interested in even pretending to follow the rules right now.

In the last election I voted for McCain but I wished that Ron Paul would have gotten the nomination since I loved his domestic policy.

Religion

I am an agnostic. Which means that I admit that I do not know if there is a god or gods or nothing. I like to joke that I will find out soon enough just hopefully not too soon :)

I was an atheist but I my lost faith in it when I realize that I takes just as much faith to say that there is no god as it does to say that Jesus died for my sins or that there is no god but Allah or that the path of the Buddha is the way to reach Nirvana or that all mighty Zeus will strike me down with a thunderbolt if I make him mad since (unless I'm hit by lighting the next time I go outside) there is just as much proof for any of them.
