Video Games

I see that you created the article Video games. However, there was already an article titled Video game, so could you please incorporate your article into that one? You (or someone else) can then alter Video games to be a redirect to Video game. Thanks. Philip J. Rayment 03:14, 8 January 2008 (EST)

For some reason, I couldn't edit anything earlier. I'll get right on it. And...Done! CodyH 2121 8 January 2008 (BST0
Thanks. Regarding editing, have you read the "Editor's Guide" in the welcome box above? That would probably explain it. Philip J. Rayment 18:06, 8 January 2008 (EST)

Post Moved to the Main Page

This is the sort of thing that might be best on your user page (rather than your use talk page). But that's up to you. Philip J. Rayment 19:12, 15 January 2008 (EST)

Atheistic Viewpoint

Just something open to debate, and Mr. Schlafly can join if he wishes...

I want to know how someone who has never been an atheist can claim to know about an atheistic viewpoint? I've dealt with my share of religions (Baptist Mother, Mormon Father, Agnostic Grandparents, Christian cousins, Catholic friends, Assorted aquaintances/co-workers), and I've seen a lot of different viewpoints from each. I can understand the differences, and the similarities between the multitude of faiths.

Now, as I've stated before, my belief is in the human race and it's advancement, and I perfer to call myself a Humanist. Nor do I make any assumption otherwise. But at least when I speak about other religions, I either check my statements through fact, or by best assumption using the knowlege I have.

Now, my question is this, Mr. Schlafly...How much experience do you have at being an atheist, and how can you claim to see the 'Atheistic Viewpoint' so well? I simply want to know, because some of the things you have stated from the Atheistic Viewpoint, like Hollywood Values, Love, and Atheism itself, seem quite estranged from what I have learned of them through study.

Everyone is invited to speculate here. This is only a personal opinion, and question, and I would ask anyone who is to post to keep your arguments neutral and fact-based. I don't want a flame war here. CodyH 08:20 13 Feb 2008 (CST)

Mistyping someone's name twice doesn't help if you want him to debate here. I put forth no opinion - but I ask you the same question: you say you have experienced your share of religions - but have you lived one, or just seen them around? And a curiosity: you don't remember your cousins' confession, or you just don't consider Baptists, Mormons, Catholics to be Christians? --Leopeo 09:34, 13 February 2008 (EST)
Sorry about the misspell. As for religions, I will be the first to admit I was not too devout in either my father's or my mother's church, and I was never scolded for it. So, no, I have not lived my life through a religion. As for the Christian question, I find there are differences between the Christian and Mormon Churches, as well as Baptist differences in worship, giving them a special place of their own in Theology. Does that answer your question? CodyH 08:47 13 Feb 2008 (CST)
Ok, thanks for the answer. I come from a Catholic background and country, so it striked me odd to see 'Catholic' and 'Christian' in the same sentences, as if they were two separate groups, instead of one inside the other. --Leopeo 09:56, 13 February 2008 (EST)

I do hope

that you are not making comments here, in order to WIGO them elsewhere, assuming you are that CodyH too. --KotomiTnandeyanen? 13:14, 12 March 2009 (EDT)

I believe you've read my profile page. It is merely a collection of information on both sides that I keep to myself, and distribute when I feel like it. Logical fallacy remains logical fallacy, regardless of placement and side. If there was a WIGO here, I would contribute to it as best I can. CodyH 12:30 12 March 2009 (CST)

Beer Page is up

Posting beer page at both locations, with the same content at each page. Unbiased, truthful fact for both sides. CodyH 12:30 12 March 2009 (CST)

  • Even if you do say so yourself? ROFL! Usually it is others who make that decisions about us, rather than each of us making the claim for ourselves. Godspeed to you and thanks for your service, if indeed you really do. --₮K/Admin/Talk 13:36, 10 May 2009 (EDT)
