You may have noticed that I rearranged the Easter article yesterday. My motivation for doing so was to do the very thing you did, based on the article that you linked to. I hesitated, however, when I was about to change the Origin section, when I realised that the existing article was proposing a different origin to the one debunked by Jonathan Sarfati, and that he doesn't actually deny that the word "Easter" has pagan origins, even though it's been used as the word for the Christian festival for a very long time.

This is not a criticism of your edit. I just thought that it was interesting that you and I both had the same idea. I was planning on writing to Jonathan Sarfati to see if he could clarify that point.

Your work on the Conservative Bible Project is much appreciated. But User:MBack has already promised to finish the translation of the Gospel of John. Could you contribute some work to one of the other five remaining translated works (most are half finished):

  • Romans
  • 1 Corinthians
  • 2 Corinthians
  • Hebrews
  • James

Thanks much and I look forward to learning from your work.--Andy Schlafly 16:38, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
