EU speculation, and speculation in general

As Professor Jensen said in his EU article edit note, we need to avoid speculation from unnamed sources. As a pretty well-connected conservative, I have never once heard such "speculation" from either liberals or conservatives. I have heard such silliness from the so-called parodists who think that is something "real" conservatives might obsess over however! Nothing I just said should be taken as suspicion or speculation of you, however...just making a general observation.
