Elamdri, this is a warning. You seem to be going through numerous entries and inserting an obnoxious header that adds no value. I requested that you contribute material, not deface numerous entries. Please stop it and contribute some meaningful information. Thanks.--Aschlafly 21:35, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
- Elamdri, there is a second stub template that is MUCH less obnoxious. it is at {{stub2}} It looks like this:
- Try using it from now on. Oh, and put it at the bottom of the page, not at the top. Same with the other stub template. GofG 21:53, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
- That's a great idea: at the bottom of the page, not the top. That way the user can get the information that is available first, and then see the suggestion to improve. Thank you, GofG! (By the way, I'll reply to your email next.)--Aschlafly 21:55, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

Oh, I'm not liberal at all. I just consider myself right in the middle. And yes, you can play nice, no problem with that. Anyways, the article on Japan, I see you deleted it because it was copy and pasted from Wikipedia... but it wasn't. I copy and pasted before I realized the whole "GNU copyright etc thingamabob", which was a day or two ago, and has since been changed back to its old state (or so I believe). Any way to get it back?--Blozrav 19:31, 19 March 2007 (EDT)

Discussion
Hello Elamdri, I appreciate that you notified me that you cut, and moved and pasted my proposal that we set our bar above information appearing on personal websites. You appear to be a legal sysop (I am a 20 year old legal), so I would be interested in your reaction to my proposal. The reason I posted it as an individual (not ongoing discussion) proposal has to do with it being a proposal to action, that is, it might actually become a method we use. But when posted as part of an ongoing discussion, you see, it gets lost in the noise, so to speak. Sincerely..Terryeo 14:32, 17 March 2007 (EDT)
- I understand your point. I'll say its ok, but in general it is nice to keep the talk pages relatively uncluttered.--Elamdri 17:36, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

Judges
Hi, thanks for your note about Judges, but I think it would be much more consistent if the legal term were moved to its singular version (thus:Judge), which is the standard in most reference works, while leaving Judges for the book of the Bible. Eventually, we'll need a disarticulation page, but for now I think this is far preferable to having all the books of the Bible having to be titled "Book of Leviticus" or "Leviticus (Book of the Bible)" or some such awkwardness. Also, given that all that exists as Judges is a stub that has been tagged as a VSA, now seems the time to do it.

Major Bias Removal and Deletion
There needs to be a better way to deal with this. Figuratively taking the article out and shooting it is a disgrace. Good job. Flippin 10:51, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
- I respect the work you do, but it seems you and some others are often more willing to lock and delete than debate and correct. No one says you have a kick me sign on--you volunteer. -And trolls have just as much right to work on this site as anyone else. Flippin 10:56, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
- Your deletion of the Major Bias page was juvenile. I would have thought that someone studying law would have a better grasp of process. The AFD discussion favoured retention. Explain yourself. --Horace 00:21, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
- Your reasoning provided here is not really convincing. I don 't know who deleted previous pages nor why they did it. I do know that a number of people had taken the time to discuss that particular page and most of them were in favour of retention. Just exactly who do you think you are to make that decision unilaterally? --Horace 01:15, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
- Deal. I should say that I understand that the page might have ruffled feathers. You will have seen that I put an entry on it (which I felt strongly about). I am just a bit concerned about some of the behaviour on the site and I think it would be healthy if some internal criticism could be tolerated. I thank you for your gentlemanly response. --Horace 01:40, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
Ban Powers
You mention "Either play nice, or I will start dropping the Ban Hammer." in response to a member of this site. Can I get banned for asking you to explain why so many sites are locked and deleted and you (and others) will not edit them? It seems to protect yourselves from vandalism, you've given up the purpose of this wiki--to defend the truth. Maybe your time would be etter spent not "dropping the ban hammer" and instead fixing the bias you find. Flippin 11:06, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

Joseph McCarthy Article
I have some additions and edits to make for the Joseph McCarthy article. If you'll look back on my past edits there, you will see that I am not a vandal and follow the rules laid down in the Conservapedia commandments. Please let me know how I can get my edits into the article. --PF Fox 13:02, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
This should go near the beginning of the article because it's a detailed description of how McCarthy became a household word:
It was McCarthy's charges of Communist infiltration of the State Department that shot him into prominence in 1950. On February 9th speech in Wheeling, West Virginia at the Colonnade Room of the McClure Hotel he stated:
“And ladies and gentlemen, while I cannot take the time to name all the men in the State Department who have been named as active members of the Communist Party and members of a spy ring, I have here in my hand a list of 205 – a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as being members of the Communist Party and who nevertheless are still working and shaping policy in the State Department.”[1]
The State Department denied McCarthy’s claims. In a radio interview in Utah the following day, McCarthy had changed the number to 57, and on February 11, in Reno at the Mapes Hotel, McCarthy again invoked the number 57 instead of 205, and named Robert Service, Gustavo Duran, Mary Jane Keeney and Harlow Shapley as being on the list. Several days later, when McCarthy was speaking to the Senate in Washington DC, the number had changed to 81.” [2]
The source for the original number McCarthy offered, “205,” turned out to be a letter written in 1946 by Secretary of State James Byrnes in reply to a question from Democratic Congressman Adolph Sabath about the screening of several thousand federal employees in the wake of post-war reassignments. There was no mention of either Communist party membership or names in that letter. The names McCarthy later offered in Reno came from a 1948 report by an ex-FBI agent Robert E. Lee on “incidents of inefficiencies” in the state department that had subsequently been passed on to the HUAC.
Thomas C. Reeves painstakingly well-documented 1982 biography of McCarthy includes part of the exchange in the Senate between Senator McCarthy and Democratic Majority Leader Scott Lucas on February 20th, during which McCarthy offered evidence for his claims by going through the Lee list. There were marked differences between what the Lee report actually said, and what Senator McCarthy claimed on the Senate floor. For instance, the Lee list read:
“The subject was described in reports by various witnesses as interested in communism as an experiment but his political philosophy is in keeping with liberal New Deal social reform under democratic processes of government; ‘he is a very ardent New Dealer; he is a live liberal;’ but an informant who also lived in the International House at one time said ‘He was one of those accused of being a Red here but the people who do get up and talk communism are refuted.’”
McCarthy read this as “He was described in reports by various witnesses as interested in communism and by his roommate at the International House as a communist.”
Where the Lee list read "This employee is with the office of Information and Educational Exchange in New York City. His application is very sketchy. There has ben no investigation. (C-8) is a reference. Though he is 43 years of age, his file reflects no history prior to June 1941. Case is awaiting a report from the New York Office."
McCarthy read: "This individual is 43 years of age. He is with the Office of Information and Education. According to the file, he is a known Communist. I am not evaluating the information myself, I am merely giving you what is in the file. This individual also found his way into the Voice of America broadcast. Apparently the easiest way to get in is to be a known Communist." [3]
Another edit should go into the section on the Army Signal Corps hearings. The following: "When electrical engineer Carl Greenblum broke down and wept during Roy Cohn’s cross-examination and had to be led, visibly upset, from the closed door session..." should include the parenthetical comment (Greenblum's mother had died two days before) so that it reads "When electrical engineer Carl Greenblum broke down and wept during Roy Cohn’s cross-examination (Greenblum's mother had died two days before) and had to be led, visibly upset, from the closed door session..."

Please take a look....
At the "Abuse" page, last item, "Abuse of sysop priviledge". [[1]] I posted there that I would ask a few other Sysop's to look at what they are talking about. Please don't rush, and consider the edits, etc. Your decision if you want to post there, what you think, or wherever. THANKS! Please, you can thank me later for this good turn. --~ TerryK Talk2Me! 08:19, 23 March 2007 (EDT)
- I don't want anything. I posted I would ask some other Sysop's about the things they were complaining about. So, I put messages on a few others, like you. Seemed pretty simple and easy thing to ask of a Law Major. The articles they were complaining about were, as I said, under the title "Abuse of sysop priviledge" and were done by RobS. The were complaining about two pages in particular, Hitler and Liberals. I thought his work was fine. Sorry to have bothered you. --~ TerryK Talk2Me! 10:08, 23 March 2007 (EDT)

British?
Are you British? I'm curious; inferring from your user page, which says you're a "legal major" as opposed to a "law student" (like me) in the US. That's awesome. I'm pretty curious about UK law: across the pond, we rely a lot on you guys in Torts & Criminal Law. Is that reliance two-way? I'm very curious.-AmesGyo 20:53, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- Cool man! I didn't know many American schools provided pre-law as an undergrad major. It'll come in handy, take my word for it. When I worked in Parliament, I learned that law was fully an undergrad degree there (!!!) so I just assumed. When you get to looking for law schools, have a look at NYU. That's where I am, and I love it.-AmesGyo! 21:02, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- I don't buy into the law & economics bent at Chicago Law, and I hate their professors that guest-teach at NYU for their law & econ bent. But Chicago is one of the top ten (isn't it?) and it is a little more conservative than most. NYU Law is higher ranked, but much more liberal, which I don't mind (obviously I like it) but you might, and that's fine. It's outrageously expensive, though, too. $60k/year living & tuition :-O. But the education is top notch, and the people are really nice! -AmesGyo! 21:20, 26 March 2007 (EDT)

Andy did ask me to remove the armyofgod one, but I found a different source for the same quote. MountainDew 02:44, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
- As Elamdri appears to be AWOL, I'll chip in. The reason the sources are not credible is that while they cite a source, they are not the original source. One of the sources cited appeared to be a magazine from the 1920s. Go to the library, look it up, read it, cite that and THAT is a reliable source. That's how research works. It would be useful if, in making the statement you do, Myk, to actually source the source you are talking about. --~ TerryK MyTalk 02:59, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

Hi, Elamdri. I'm one of the sysops here, too, and I'd like to ask you to unblock the account of Everwill (talk • contribs • count). He's a friend from Wikipedia whom I invited over here. My apologies. I've got to remember that this site is Serious Business. (What's the wikicode for sarcasm? I can never remember, and the help doesn't say.) Semi-seriously, has it occurred to you editors that banning anyone who fails to exorcise every ounce of humor from their work and bulk-deletions might NOT be the best way to make a site that will one day rival Wikipedia? --Gulik2 02:21, 25 April 2007 (EDT) Edit to add: And I know enough history to know that my listing for "Heretic" was, sadly, just about 100% accurate. WoW
Quote: ""World of Warcraft": Needs to be fixed" - can you fix it so it has better graphics and doesn't require a monthly subscription? :P File:User Fox.png Fox (talk|contribs) 18:42, 24 June 2007 (EDT)
- HAHAHA, I don't mind the graphics. They COULD make it cheaper though.--Elamdri 18:42, 24 June 2007 (EDT)
LOVE IT!
Your user box on Clinton, I LOVE IT! And I have to agree with you on it. But, the thingis, you weren't old enough to vote those two times!!! =p haha, but we all get the point. Keep fighting the good fight! Jros83 03:34, 25 June 2007 (EDT)
Block
I think blocking Arsonist might have been a mistake. His edit to tony blair was good. You might want to look it over. Bohdan 18:21, 28 June 2007 (EDT)

World of Warcraft
I am new to Conservapedia, and was wondering, why is World of Warcraft locked?
It has little content and I'd be happy to expand.
Would you please categorize...
... the article for Eric Cartman(South Park)? As the protecting sysop I figured you'd want a crack at it. I suggest "animation," although that will be a new category. I don't know of another one that fits, and I can envision other articles that would fit that category in the future. That said, as an admin here it's your call. categorizing articles
Hi! :)
Thanks for adding a new article. Please, though, categorize your articles when you create them; while there are those of us who will go through and clean-up the uncategorized articles, you know your subject better than we do.
For a list of categories, go here: Special:Categories. To add a category to your article, type two open brackets, then "category:" followed by the category you want. Just add two closed brackets and you're done! You can add as many categories as you feel are appropriate. Thanks! Aziraphale 11:44, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
Page protection of Gay
Please can you unprotect Gay? (I checked the log and saw you protected it some time ago.) I want to substantially rewrite it (at the moment it's a stub, very one-sided, and entirely lacking in sources). Alternatively, if you're concerned about vandalism, I can draft a new version in my userspace and you can then copy it into the article. Walton One 19:26, 9 May 2008 (EDT)
Please unprotect Rape
Their is a horrible sentence in there about "seducing" a child - you cannot seduce (which implies an element of consent) a child - this needs rewording. Thankyou. DefenderofTrue 20:48, 11 August 2008 (EDT)
