- Retract what? You're making yourself look like an idiot, which is especially unfortunate given that your Solar System articles generally suggest otherwise. I simply told you what Bodhan or Dan should've told you last night, had they either the balls or the inclination to do so.
- I repeat: it's OK to make mistakes. It's easy to type something in haste that has stronger or wider implications than those you would intend upon reflection. And when called on it, a thoughtful man should find it equally easy to concede the narrow semantic point and restate his case more precisely. Bluntly: the trick is to stop digging.

Regardless of whether any of my actions are OK or not OK, your actions are anything but OK. I'm going to have to block you for a day for using offensive language, the nature of which I shall not repeat.
The larger principle is this: I hold myself responsible to the Bureaucrats, and to my fellow senior Sysops, as to the appropriateness of either my actions or the timing of same. I am not responsible to you.
