New entries
Thanks for creating new articles for Conservapedia! I would kindly ask that you please read over the Manual of Style and make sure your entries conform. For example, all entries should have the subject in bold text and each should have at least one category, and shouldn't be a "dead" page. Don't worry, you aren't in any trouble or anything; I just often find myself following behind people cleaning these things up :) Other than that, keep up the good work! Feel free to ask (on this page) if you have any questions. HelpJazz 13:47, 18 September 2007 (EDT)
Responce to Civil War, American Revolution logos
Sorry it took so long to respond, but while I agree with what you stated on my talk page, I respectfully decline your request. The first reason why is that I based the Civil War logo directly on a 1938 Gettysburg reunion brocure, which had the U.S. flag on the right. The original image I found in Time-Life books "Civil War: The Nation Reunited", and I wanted my logo design to reflect it as much as possible.
The second reason is the fact that we should not consider Britain or the Southern States enemies. It's more honorable to consider them as friends. On April 9, 1865, immediately after Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox, there was celebratory gunfire which was ordered to be shut down by Grant, who correctly stated that the "Rebels are our countrymen again." So in this context, the placement of the flags would be as equals rather than as victor over vanquished. Karajou 14:48, 15 September 2008 (EDT)
