A word to the wise

On this site there are people you can talk to like this and there are people you can't. Conservative is one of the latter. Although I am not unsympathetic to your points, you might be advised to avoid that tone until you have been around a while and have the lay of the land. Other than that; Welcome! --DamianJohn 04:27, 9 January 2013 (EST)

On your Nazi edit, I am also not unsympathetic to your edit, but you must remember that although we may not always agree with the conservative position on everything, we should attempt to maintain that point of view in mainspace articles. The idea that the Nazis should be viewed as a purely rightwing or nationalistic phenomenon is a bit simplistic IMO. There are clearly aspects of extreme left and right, conservative and liberal in it as a phenomenon, and we won't attempt to whitewash the liberal/leftwing features out like most places do. The larger point though is that this has been debated ad nauseum on the Nazi and other pages and the consensus has been reached to leave it more or less as is. Perhaps if you want to suggest changes to controversial subjects you would be advised to do so on the talk page. Otherwise carry on--DamianJohn 04:40, 9 January 2013 (EST).
