Citation Template

Please do not place on obvious truisms. What fact do you need to prove that the Ten Commandments are not taught in public schools? --Sysop-TK --Talk 2 Me 23:42, 28 July 2007 (EDT)

I didn't place the citation template on the 10 commandments, it was on the allegations that American public schools do not teach that deceit is wrong EQ 23:44, 28 July 2007 (EDT)
  • There is no need to ping-pong on CP. Editors here, if posting here, will expect a reply here, and vice-versa. Now, as to your placement, it is really easy to research and add the citation, if you think the article needs it. Here rather than just add templates, we prefer editors to add the needed material, as opposed to the so-called "normal" practices on WP. If you need help, my contact info is on my user page. :-) - --Sysop-TK --Talk 2 Me 23:48, 28 July 2007 (EDT)
Excellent, two clear advantages over wikipedia, you'd be surprised at the number of times I've been annoyed because someone has not taken the time to google something. As for the citation template I have tried researching it and I cannot find a single reference to support the claim that that American public schools do not teach that deceit is wrong. It is flagged in the hope that the editor who added it or a editor with similar views can provide a suitable source. Cheers EQ 23:53, 28 July 2007 (EDT)

I am glad to see you are indeed able to edit during U.S. daytime hours, EQ! I remembered your user page, and its notice when I read your post on Andy's page, so I am glad to know you will not be needing night editing rights. Godspeed! --şŷŝôρ-₮KṢρёаќǃ 14:14, 16 August 2007 (EDT)

Hehehe there's a huge 8 hour gap between my edits during US daytime hours, and that's when I'm sleeping. At the moment I can only edit late at night or during the morning (impractical if I'm working) but it's still pretty good atm EQ 20:55, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

Try using the "show preview" button, to reduce Recent Changes clutter. :-) --Ed Poor Talk 20:50, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

lol I was to figure out what was causing an image not to display in Internet Explorer, except to do that I had to edit in Firefox and then save and open in an emulated IE, so the "show preview" button wouldn't have worked. Sorry for any disruption EQ 20:55, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

Not at all, there are many strange differences between browsers. Last week it took me several hours to find out why print preview wasn't working in IE or Firefox. It turns out that the page break control feature I was using in CSS was only supported by Opera (browser). So if my customer wants to see one reports that don't break the page in the middle of a table, he'll have to give up Internet Explorer. --Ed Poor Talk 21:04, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

  • Isn't that a Liberal POV, Ed? I mean, shouldn't you change your ways, not the customer?  :p --şŷŝôρ-₮KṢρёаќǃ 21:08, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

Always remember to logon before posting!

If you don't only your IP will show. Then people, being basically nosy, will run and check it. ;-) --şŷŝôρ-₮KṢρёаќǃ 02:49, 17 September 2007 (EDT)
